Toddler Program

Our toddler program is designed to serve walking children ages 12 months to toilet training.

Our toddler program introduces your child to a more structured day with stimulating activities, group interaction and the chance to do free exploration as he or she begins to talk, walk and explore. Toddler Town, where our toddlers grow and play, has been specially designed with our young explorers in mind. Large play areas for developing gross-motor skills, child size tables and chairs, individual cubbies, soothing music, and toddler-size rest cots to ease the transition from our infant program.

Daily activities include circle time, sensory exploration, art exploration, fine-motor development, story time and outdoor play as well as child choice time. Our staff has received training in the administration of Ages & Stages Questionnaires, a bi-monthly developmental assessment, which is then used to develop activities to meet each child’s current developmental stages.  If you are interested in seeing what a typical day in our toddler room might look like please click here.

We have a comprehensive communication system to support our partnership with you through daily feeding and diapering logs. Caregivers are available to discuss your child’s care at any time.
